The ALL NEW AIM Cup!
New dates, new rules, new competition, same great event!

We have changed our date, moving off the holiday weekend and changed our competition rules to assure that every team that enters gets to play against suitable competiton.  The date change saves you money!  No longer will you be required to stay two nights in a hotel room because it is a holiday weekend!  The Rules were designed to continue to provide great competition for Premier/Select or Rep A teams yet, make the tournament more desirable for the average Travel or Recreational travel team to know they can expect a fair bracket that will test their abilities without being over-matched.

Same great parent volunteers.  Same player of the match awards.  Same great hotels and vendors.  Same great tshirts for sale.  Better weather expected in June.

NEW FORMAT FOR 2012:

Teams entering the tournament MUST indicate on their application past record, level of play and division they are placed in for their current league. AIM will require any Premier, Select, Canadian Select/Premier/First division team to play up one age level for appropriate competition.  This tournament is appropriate for club travel teams, recreational travel, second tier premier teams and placement will be made to reflect that.

June 2-3, 2012
Amherst, New York

Tournament Information

Applications are now being accepted.

This tournament is sanctioned by the USYSA and USSF.  We have both travel and premier level divisions in the age groups when there are enough teams.  In recent years, AIM has drawn teams from Michigan to Maine; Quebec to Virginia; including numerous state and provincial champions as well as regional and national competitors.  In 2010 we hosted 130 teams.

There will be two matches played on Saturday and one on Sunday.    All finals are on SUNDAY for all age groups except U10.  A three person referee system, featuring all certified referees, will be used for all matches, except U10.  Individual and team awards will be presented to the champion and runner-up in each age group.   For the U10 group, each participant will receive an award.  A special "Player of the Match" patch is awarded to a single player from each team at the end of every game.  U9 teams are welcome and will have their own division unless we don’t have enough 9s and then will be placed in the U10 grouping.

U9-10s $350         U11-19s $400

Tournament headquarters will be located at the beautiful North French Soccer complex.   The irrigated and pampered fields of the complex are supplemented by a number of other high quality fields located within a five mile radius of headquarters.  We take great pride in hosting one of the largest and highest quality tournaments available in upstate New York.   As always we try to make this a family event.
