Sunday March 16, 2008---

Barcelona had a very good game on the eve of St. Patrick's Day.  The Clarence Wild brought a very tough game to the field and scored first.  However, Jay L backstopped the team the rest of the half and allowed Barcelona to get rolling.  Andrew L and Dylan M provided the offense for the team in the first half.  In the second half Andrew S displayed some great goal tending as the wild put on some heavy pressure.  The midfield was controlled by Sam K, Max L, Alex R, Robbie S, amd Peter H.  The game was shortly tied at 2-2 before Andrew L scored his second of the game and Jared C but one in on the short side.  Barcelona held on to the lead and assured themselves a spot in the semi-finals.  It will be three weeks before the team plays again, so practice will be important to keep the team sharp.
