Sunday January 27--

The U10 boys Amherst Barcelona team took a 4-1 lead to halftime then broke out for six unanswered goals early in the second half for a 10-1 win.  The boys had one of their best team games ever. The passing in the midfield as well as control of the game were fun to watch as the boys took much of what they have been working on in practice and applied it in the game.  Goalkeeper duties were shared by Sam K and Jay L.  Strong defensive games were played by Robbie S and Alex R, while Andrew S had the hat-trick, Dylan M and Sam K had two goals while single tallies were scored by Jared C, Max L, and Evan M.

The coaches hope to have the team build on this solid effort for next week's game against the Rage.  The Rage look to be the team to beat this year and will provide a daunting task for the Barcelona Boys.
