Vision and Goals

Who We Are
The Amherst Soccer Association is an all volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to providing children instruction, enjoyment and competition in the sport.  Our goal is for each child to have fun while learning the skills necessary to play soccer and to develop physically and socially to reach their maximum potential. We are dedicated to providing positive role models to help build character, leadership and teamwork in our children that will enhance their lives beyond the sport.

In 2008, Amherst Soccer Association opened an indoor training facility at 162 Mill Street, Williamsville, NY 14221.  This totally renovated indoor facility has state-of-the-art indoor turf and ample practice space to train indoors for the cold Buffalo winters.

ASA was established in 1978 to provide opportunities to children in soccer.  We have grown to over 2300 annual registrations for children age 5 –19.  Amherst Soccer is open to all residents of the Williamsville, Amherst and Sweet Home School Districts.
Our diverse program provides:
  • Under 6 soccer as an introduction to the sport throughout the year (please email for information)
  • U8 – U18 Recreational (house league) play for 8 weeks in the Fall and Spring- September/October & May/June
  • U9– U19 Travel League soccer for those desiring a higher level of competition – September – August
  • Winter Indoor House League play ( 4v4 and 5v5) – November - March
  • TOPSoccer for children with disabilities (age 7-21) Fall and Winter
