On June 26th at U.B., for the second year, the Amherst Fusion rode in the Ride for Roswell raising over $5300 for research and care.  The girls decided a year ago that they wanted to ride in honor of their coach Marty, a leukemia survivor.  With the help of Denise Woods and Kris Flaschner, Colleen Roetzer and Patrice Allen, the girls and coach raised more than double the previous year.  Want to ride with us?  Watch for information on our team web page next winter.  The more ASA riders the better.  Almost everyone has been touched by a friend or relative with cancer.  Roswell Park is in our own backyard and anyone who has come in contact with their staff and care has to be impressed by the dedication to find a cure and help people through a difficult, stressful time.
