Defeat 2nd place West Seneca Jayhawks, 4-2
Capping a 9-1 season, Amherst Chelsea defeated the second place West Seneca Jayhawks 4-2 Wed July 30th, to capture the division championship of the BWNYJSL U17 division. Alex C bagged a brace with Katie B and Mariah adding markers in the closely fought contest. Congratulations to Chelsea on a wonderful season, adding the U17 league championship to the Clarence Tournament championship and a second place finish in the Rochester Tournament of Champions. Chelsea Remains in First Place
Playing with only 12 players, and reduced to 11 during the match, Chelsea turned in another strong performance with Mariah recording another brace and Melissa adding a smart marker for a 3-1 victory. The season concludes next week in grand fashion, with Chelsea traveling to West Seneca for what will likely be the title-defining match. Pictures are now available
