Amherst Chelsea completed an undefeated Clarence Classic Tournament with a 1-0 tournament final victory over Fairport for the championship of the U19 bracket.  Mariah scored the winning goal in the finals, capping her 7 goal tournament outburst.  Jo recorded 3 shutouts and only one goal against in 4 matches.  The semifinals against Cheektowaga saw Alex C, Taylor, Mariah, and Callie scoring in the 4-1 victory. 

The tournament started on Sat with Mariah scoring 5 goals ,2 in the 2-0 opener against Henrietta-Rush, and yet another hat-trick this season in the second game against Akron.  Callie adding the other tally in the 4-0 victory over a short-sided Akron club.  The defense played exceptionally well throughout the 2 days, with Morgan, Becca, Melissa, and Olivia providing lock-down coverage and impeccable team defense.  Neha flew in from Europe for the Sunday games to add to the defensive prominence.  Strong play by the middies, including Alex C, Katie P, guest-player-Kristin N, and Lauren made the scoring runs and defensive stops possible.  Forwards Alex L, Caitlin, Farrah, and Elana provided numerous scoring opportunities, with Elana recording 6 assists for the tournament.
